The Alumni Association at Maharishi University of Management is a great way to stay in touch with the campus community. Maharishi University of Management’s Alumni Association recently helped organize a class reunion for those who graduated between 1977 and 1982.
During the weekend of May 3-6, 2012, more than sixty alumni participated in the MIU Reunion 1977-1982. The group originated the reunion idea and formed an organizing committee consisting of Toni Rawlins, Prentiss Adams, Shannon Custer Nelson, Kelly Custer, and Mindy Tiberi. To get in touch with each other, the graduates started a Facebook group and participation increased organically from there.

The Alumni Association helped to coordinate plans and the activities that were held both in town as well as on campus. Approximately half of the attendees traveled from all over the country to rejoin their class, many of them returning to Fairfield for the first time since graduating.
I loved all the events. The arrival reception, the campus tour, the Radiance Dairy trip, seeing the sustainability building, the Raj and vedic observatory. Some of us played frisbee golf at Chataqua Park. Hanging out at restaurants, the luncheon with the Mayor, the Art Walk, music on the square, and contra dancing. A screening of old Forest Academy talent shows and lots of hugs. I even got a badge and squeezed in a little silent time in the dome. I would do it again in a heartbeat. ~Corey Vian, BA ’83
