My passion is business and entrepreneurialism. Working at iPhone Life let’s me wear many different hats. I have learned a lot from working here. I also love new technology, so testing out and writing about the latest technologies is really exciting for me.

Recalling why he chose to study at Maharishi University of Management David remembers, “I was looking for a place where I would develop as a whole person not just as a job candidate. Maharishi University of Management allowed me to grow spiritually and emotionally in addition to growing intellectually.”

Getting to know David

What do you miss about Maharishi University of Management (MUM)?

Every once in a while in “the real world” you’ll meet someone who is passionate about self development and who you connect with very deeply. At MUM, EVERYONE is like that. I made so many lifelong friends there.

What do you remember most vividly about living in the dorms?

My neighbor ALWAYS played really loud trance music. One night while he was in his room playing his music, we went around and gathered everyone on the floor. We burst in his room and had a spontaneous trance dance party. It was one of those random dorm experiences you never forget.

What book are you reading and would you recommend it?

Currently I’m reading the 4 Hour Work Week, this is my second time reading it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to earn a living outside of the 9-5 corporate environment. I’m also reading Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

What are your favorite things to do?

I love to travel. I have been to over 20 different countries. Also, I play ultimate frisbee.

What’s your favorite indulgence?

I’m kind of obsessed with Lime Perrier water. The other day my roommate and I each bought a bottle. I drank all of mine in a day. Then I drank all of his. Then I went and bought him a replacement bottle so he wouldn’t notice. But I drank all of that too :(

David’s favorite quote of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of MUM:

“We have an infinite number of reasons to be happy, and a serious responsibility not be serious.”
