Peta2 lists Maharishi University of Management as one of the Most Vegan-Friendly Colleges in the United States. Now, the competition kicks in. Maharishi University of Management is competing in Peta2’s Most Vegan-Friendly College Campus Competition.

Maharishi University of ManagementPeta2 is the young adult division of the animal activist group PETA (people for the ethical treatment of animals); and they have been conducting the Most Vegan-Friendly College Contest 2011 for six years. The competition is broken down into five rounds for large and small U.S. schools.Maharishi University of Management

Vote now to help Maharishi University of Management progress to the next round. All you have to do is click VOTE NOW and “like” Maharishi University of Management. Hurry, voting ends this Monday, October 17th, 2011.

Note: You need a Facebook account in order to vote.

The winner will be chosen based on the following factors with equal weight:

  • Peta2′s assessment of the quality and variety of vegan food options available at each school
  • The total number of votes that each school receives
  • The enthusiasm demonstrated by nominated schools in promoting their nomination and/or available vegan food options
  • Feedback from students on campus about their dining staff’s services and openness to improving dining options for vegans

The winning schools will be announced on November 21, 2011.
