Congratulations to Maharishi University of Management’s class of 2011!
Maharishi University of Management’s graduation festivities began on June 25th with the Graduation Ball and continued through the dessert reception, after the main event, on July 2nd. Graduation week included:
- Faculty presentations to friends and family of the graduates
- Commencement awards ceremony
- Commencement garden party for graduates and their guests
Valedictorian Angela Folz, Mathematics 2011
The 278 graduates of 2011 form a diverse group. 44 countries were represented by the 56 undergraduate and 222 graduate students who received their diploma. The most distinguished student was 70 years in age and the youngest was 20. The two degrees that were awarded the most this year were the Master’s in Computer Science and the Master’s in Business Administration.
The graduation ceremony included speeches by Valedictorian Angela Folz (Mathematics), Salutatorian Lyndi Oullette (Sustainable Living), and special guest Dr. Norman Rosenthal.
Dr. Rosenthal
Dr. Rosenthal is a world-renowned psychiatrist and author who has helped millions of people through his research in describing seasonal effective disorder (SAD) and pioneering the use of light therapy. His newest book, Transcendence:Healing and Transformation Through Transcendental Meditation, explores the scientific documentation of healing and transformation through the practice of Transcendental Meditation and includes interviews with people sharing their stories of this — including Paul McCartney, Russell Brand, Martin Scorsese, Moby, Laura Dern and David Lynch.

Congratulations Class of 2011.
Finished my MBA this year as well, at a small
College in Massachusetts.
Just started back up with regular TM and its advanced
techniques about a month ago after reading Dr.
Rosenthal’s incredible book “Transcendance”
Hope to study at MUM someday. What a dream
